OKay... so you have clicked the topic..  now you are liable for giving me input :D

A few notes to point out...
- The site will be cented
- and will probally have a base black backround

So please, the sooner I get input the sooner I can give you the parially complete website for further analysis!

I think if you want peoples input you should work on the site the way you want to see it, and then get some other peoples opinions. From looking at that picture I don't know what you want me to tell you. You have work on it, and then be able to take criticism to change it.

I'm just a dirtbag American, but here's our site, some of the information needs to be updated, and we're also about half done with an entirely home brewn version that looks better.

Hope this is good for some ideas.

I like your background more than ours though :P and plus, we're Air Farce ragbags, much prefer to be Army or even Marine... oh well, FIDO.

Good luck man.

Some items you may include on your website are:

- Requirements for Joining Cadets
- Upcoming Events
- Weekly Announcements
- Staff Listing
- Picture Album
- Links to other sites of interest (Affiliated Unit, Regional Cadet HQ, Duke of Edinburgh's Awards Program, Army/Airforce/Navy Cadet League of Canada)
- Some Corps have a guide line book developed.
- History of the Corps
- Monthly or Quarterly News Letters
- Exercise information and Kit Lists.
- Summer Camp Kit Lists

You can choose any of the above. Remember who your target audience is and what you want to achieve with the site. Additionally, I would imagine both Cadets and their Legal Guardians will be both visiting the site for information.

Some Corps have Alumni Listings. Any personel information must be cleared by that person before posting.

Here is an example of a good Corps web site:

If you want to see a site thats been worked on for a long time look at 2814's site. Just don't look at cadet staff. There a little short.(no offence guys)

Phase One should be learning how to spell "Corps" correctly...

always nice to get a good chuckle in the morning.  That Army cadet site is pretty sweet though.

regards

Looks good, but why not adopt the official template - you don't have to pay for domain, still have control *though you cannot access yourself - officer needs to upload :(, and overall looks pretty decent, and can get alot of attention if set up right.
