PHILADELPHIA - A Pennsylvania man has been sentenced to 120 years in prison for making a huge cache of child pornography that shows him sexually assaulting a dozen children, including infants at a girlfriend's in-home day care.

The FBI found John Jackey Worman with more than 1 million images of child pornography.

Worman made girls perform sex acts for school lunch money, and had another girlfriend's son sleep in a locked wooden crate in the basement for several years.

The presiding judge describes 42-year-old John Jackey Worman as a seldom-employed sociopath who sponged off women and sadistically coerced his young victims.

I think the judge was too nice, I can think of a few more words to describe this sick, perverted, waste of oxygen, but I can't put them here.  Hope he gets a nice "boyfriend" in prison.

When handing out such long sentences, I have read that sometimes the judge will comment, "Don't worry, you'll probably only have to do half of it!"
I read that Juan Corona was sentenced to 25 consecutive life terms for murders in California in the early 1970's.
Here's another long sentence:
10,000 years for a triple murder:  "Dudley Wayne Kyzer was jailed for 10,000 years by a court in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in 1981 for murdering his wife. He was then sentenced to two life terms for murdering his mother-in-law and a college student."

9 years ago my high school vice-principal was arrested for child pornography/molestation (those were interesting days at school) and released after 3 years. In 2007 he re-offended. It's digusting, especially that he did it all over again.

Edited to add: Just found out the sentencing recently happened, and he only got 40 months. You'd think the second time around the crime would warrant a harsher sentence.

Words fail me.  A person in such a position of trust and authority who does that junk gets out after three, and then does it again (showing that he had failed to have been rehabilitated) and gets a mere 3 years and 4 months?  What's next, 3 years and 8 months?  God....

It's a given. We're all morally outraged, physically revolted and disgusted by these reports and 'people'. However, as with other threads of this type and the usual course of posts, we will NOT go down the road of verbalising, and posting, the types of vigilante justice such types deserve.

Most of these types operate internationally. It just depends where they get caught. People are free to post, and discuss, what they want, subject to the guidelines.

According to your first link, he was only sentenced to 4 1/2 years.  Not enough, IMO.

BTW, I didn't post this to "glamorize" an American pedophile.  I posted it because it is, indeed, a hefty sentence........and still not enough.

I've heard way too many stories about pedophiles who end up killing their victims, and it's so tragic. I'm glad they got this guy into prison before he could physically hurt anyone. Of course, the mental scars will be with his victims for the rest of their lives, and I hope they get the therapy they need.

And so many men wonder why so many woman and girls fear men; if a woman or girl fears men, it is very likely that she has learned first hand and therefore has a very good reason... statistics alone don't 'usually' cause a woman or girl to fear, statistics generally cause a woman or girl to be cautious and aware, but to develop an actual full fear... that's something else. 

Since only 6-8% of rape cases are reported and 4 out of 5 college girls surveyed said they were victims (I assume it was an anonymous survey because most girls/woman would not participate in such a survey otherwise)... I wonder how many of a man's daughter(s) and/or his wife and/or sister(s) and/or his mother and/or his female co-workers etc... were raped and/or sexual assaulted at one time or various times and said man to date still has no idea... makes you think, doesn't it.  Woman and girls are very good at hiding these sorts of details.

You're correct - at least the LEOs managed to nail him before any of his victims died.

But, these child-victims almost certainly did suffer physical injury as a result of his vile acts. Hopefully, their physical scars will heal and haven't caused any lifelong damage. And yes, may they get all the resources and help they need in dealing with the mental injuries & scars that will haunt them.
