Mechanix Wear's Original Glove

Just an example, that's all. There are many things that can happen to aid the wearing of the glove permanently. Most are smart enough to avoid the C9 but there are other job related hazards that those gloves are just not meant for. As I said, policy prohibits me from wearing them in certain situations, just thought I'd pass it along.

I just bought a pair of BDG's, my M Wear's bit the dust yesterday. The BDG is a bit more expensive but has a thicker palm and some good stitching, might be worth checking out the competition, fellas.

Are these for firefighting?

Negative, can't wear the M's, or any synthetic glove for that matter, while firefighting. I use mine when I go out on jobs where there is no risk of fire but I still need to cover my paws! ;D I have found that they're great for putting on tire chains, you have something to cover your hands yet still have alot of dexterity, that's why I love them so much. They even fend off the cold a bit, nothing is much good against -50, but those M's, or whatever brand you like, are good to about -5/10, just for quick work.
