So my husband got his medical and interview date as August 27th!!
I know this doesn't mean a guaranteed job but it's nice to know we are one step closer.
So now we are looking into some info. He will complete basic training and then go onto Borden for trade specific and then we were told that for his trade Petawawa would be his first posting.
As my father was in the military we lived in Petawawa for 5 years.
Just looking for some info on PMQs and pricing.
We are a family with 1 child. What size of pmq would we be allocated? Also how does the "rent" work. My mother told me it was based on income where I have also heard market rent.
What is the market rent prices if this is the way they are?
Also any other info/insights you could give us into the life of the military. I will likely be returning to work at Tim Hortons(I have worked at Tim's for 10 years) and was wondering if there is any child are through military resources and whatnot.
