i received an email yesterday stating they were deeming me medically unfit, i called to find out why & she stated that they were rejecting me for daily cannabis use (incorrect information) i don't smoke cannabis at all, she said it must have been a typo. she said said because of my history of mental health issues and being medicated from 2020-2021, 5 years ago. i haven't had any issues with depression or anxiety or been medicated for either since then. i do take ADHD medication but i have zoro restrictions or limitations. i also have early on set arthritis and again it doesn't affect me, i go to the gym 5-6 days a week and have had no issues with my back at all, i do regular back strengthening exercises, my doctor signed off on all of this when they wanted more information after my medical exam. all of this came up in my medical exam and my interview (other than the cannabis use because it was false information) and they they said they still wanted to move forward with my application. im just wondering if this is worth appeal, ive put so much time and effort into this, its something ive wanted to do for a long time. when i called she told me i should book an appointment with my family doctor and have her asses me mentally and my back and wright a latter stating i have no limitations or restrictions but she said to call back next week when they receive my actual rejection letter so she will know if im even able to appeal or not.. there was false information on my application they have to let me appeal right? am i just wasting my time on this?

From what I understand you've been denied by the RMO? It'll say on your rejection letter and you'll be (to my knowledge) able to appeal, and your doctor will have to sign off that whatever problem is flagged (it says mental assesment, so I assume for ADHD?) is no longer an issue.
