Hello I'm hoping a be medic in the Canadian forces either this year or next, at the moment I'm working on upgrading my science marks. However I am also considering Supply Tech but Med Tech is my number 1 choice. If I could get feedback from anyone from either trade to give me insight on the trades i.e pros and cons. I applied for Army but I'm seeing a guy who is a vehicle tech he thinks i should choose Air Force. Whats the difference other than the obvious level of exposure to various more serious injuries?

For purple trades like Med Tech and Supply Tech,  choosing Army, Navy or Air Force is just choosing the colour of your dress uniform.  You could be a Navy Med with a Infantry Battalion,  or a Army Med/Sup Tech working on a Air Force base.

If you search "Med Tech" and "Supply Tech" you will find many discussions of the two trades.

I think being attached to a infantry battalion would be more exciting and alot more challenging and i love being pushed to my limits when it comes to working, being with the Air Force or Navy kind of seems like it would be not be as stressful but im not saying itd be easy in any way regardless. Thanks for your feedback :)

Keep in mind you will be with a field ambulance primarily when posted to an army base from there you may be with an infantry, engineer or armoured regiments.  Might be with HQ & SIGS or service battalion.  Or none of them.  You will go where your told regardless of what you want or uniform you wear.  If you lucky you might get what you want.

Edited for spelling and grammar
