Meeting with unit after interview?

Hi,
I applied in last April as a reserve armored officer. Passed the CFAT test and the interview but as a NCM instead of officer as they told me I was not ready yet for an officer position. Also did the medical but the medical majorly slowed down my application because I have allergies. Basically if you need an epipen you can't get in. I got my allergist to fill out the form for more information along with some tests and the recruitment staff sent it to Ottawa for the Medical staff's approval. I'm still waiting for letter from ottawa (so I really don't know if i'm disqualified or not because of the allergies) and it's been a while now but oddly, the unit I applied to called me and told me I was in as an officer and that they wanted to meet me again just to get to know me better. I asked if this was a second interview of some sort and they said no. Any opinions on this? I've searched for an answer but couldn't find anything.

Also update for folks who may encounter a similar situation: the person I talked to was away on vacation so he scheduled me an interview thinking I didn't pass it already, it was a simple communication mistake.
