    I read on Wikipedia, that the Canadian Army uses Maschinegewhere 3? But I'm not sure... If they do I would like to know where,
(e.g Armour, etc.)

I believe they are being used in Afghanistan on the leased Leopard 2s. Other than that I've never heard of them in CF use. Too bad, they're a great weapon.

They were used in the late '70s also.  The "Rent-a-tanks" that we used in 1977 had MG3's.

The Leo 2A6m that are being leased from the Germany Military come with the MG3
The Dutch Leo 2's which we bought, have the mg bracket for the C6.
