I've a rodent problem for quite sometimes where I live. I thought it might be a rat or a mice. Until a few weeks ago when a mice died in a trap.
So now I now my opponent. Opponent because there at least one that visit me every night. Ronlanuit (Rongeur la nuit) is getting in my bedroom earlier this autumn and staying longer in the morning.
The landlord has put more traps and that's it! Employees of the landlord have refused a temporary cat (The SPCA in my town is looking for temporary ', famille d' accueil for some of them). I've found out that nice are as fast as a bullet (so no catch and release).
Even with me telling them there must be a hole somewhere, 1 employee has ONLY look at 1 of the walls.
One employee is supposed to put poison in the traps but she never had it with her. ( Iknow because I provided her with the peanut butter she's supposed to mix with the poison.)
I think it's time to be more creative. I want to put this roommate out so I can fall asleep. (I'm waiting to hear its sound on the evening and I can't fall asleep until it's gone on the morning.?
I'm thinking of buying traps to cage it. Anyone know of some that works?
(The sound started in the wall 3 years ago.) But its been coming into my place every night only since this end of September. There's might be a family (or colony) of them now in the building.
I'd also love to have references (in French) on those small rodents to learn what could be effective against them.
