I noticed in the Milpoint FAQ that 20 points were to be rewarded for every hour spent on the site so I kept the browser open all day to test it out. However I noticed that I was only credited with one hour of time (i.e. 20 points) over that 24 hour time period. So I was wondering what the system considers "one line time"?

"Online time" is time that you (as the human) are active on the site.  If you sit on one page and do nothing, then the counter will time-out.
Milpoints were not intended to be something that your idle computer can earn for you.  They recognize your active involvment in the site.
