Well it doesn't have to be MMA i just needed a broad term for any fighting style.
Ok so I am looking to join the army after i go to university (starting my grade 12 year at the moment so lots of time) I just want to utilize the time I have and be productive. Anyway
I am looking to put my time in a category of fighting and I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions,I am thinking about starting in BJJ or muay thai maybe even wing chun(Now if any of you have a fighting style I don't know of suggest it also or think is better). I live in the Mississauga (Peel Region) so if anybody has any suggestions to which gym I should go to that would also be great.
Already have 3 gyms on my radar
http://www.canadianwingchun.com/ (A new gym is opening for them near me soon)
http://www.evolutionmartialarts.ca/index.html
http://kombatarts.com/
On a side note I did Taekwondo a couple months I did not like the pace of it or the patterns (and the fact that you have to pay 50$ to increase your belt) That reminds if you do suggest a gym I don't really want a gym that is: 50 dollars for uniform, 50 dollars for sparring equipment, 50 dollars to get proceed a belt, etc (Get it yet?) So a gym that doesn't pile the costs.
Now if there has been a thread like this by all mean lock this, tried to find one but nothing has what I am looking for.
As always thank you!
Well this makes me look like a complete ***,I know about this: http://forums.army.ca/forums/threads/101718.0.html
Still would like my question answered (That sounds pretty greedy or ignorant of me doesn't it?)
