I still have had no success on my search for the death information on Lt. Col. Hartley Ernest Chater; however, I now have his service number.

Enlisted June 10, 1919 ... Service No. 1381 then 8236. Address on enlistment, 10 Sullivan Street, Toronto, Ontario.

Discharged September 4, 1947 in Montreal, Quebec.

The information that I require is the year of death and the place of death. A contact with a Canadian family member would be a bonus.
