Mountain Biking - Petawawa/Ottawa area?

Hey all,

I'm looking for a good place to go mountain biking in late Oct. (Weather permitting of course!) I was set on Calabogie but it turns out they close on Oct 14th and I'm looking at the 20/21st.

Anyone know of some good (challenging - but not over the top) downhill trails that would still be available by 20 Oct? I'm looking anywhere from Ottawa to Pet, and could even go further for a good run.

did you try checking some of the eastern version of  ski resorts ? Most of the ones out west here now run summer mtn bike trails in order to become more year round.

Give Gearheads a call at 613-687-4624 and they should be able to give you some info.  I know they run mountain bike courses so they should know what's available here
