I saw a note this morning that Dave Winterburn (Fishbone Jones) died during a camping or hunting trip just a few weeks ago.
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Winterburn several times when I lived in Ontario. He was a very colourful character, enjoyed his Whiskey and had some good and funny stories to share here and in person.

RIP Fishbone and my condolences to his family and the Windsors, who have lost a good man, a husband, father, grandpa, brother and uncle.

Ouch …

Agree or disagree with the guy, one passionate voice gone from the boards here. Condolences to family, colleagues & friends.

Damn. We defiantly lost a voice on these means.

Rest easy old boy.

Damn! I'd met him a few times while in uniform over the years. He was both knowledgeable and opinionated. He'll be missed on these means.

He helped to make this forum interesting . I might not have always agreed with him on some subjects . But more often then not I came away better informed and on more then one occasion amused.
