From what I have gathered on the Regimental Forum what is actually being presented is the Commander-in-Chief Unit Commendation.
These will be presented by the Senior Serving Royal Canadian and former Officer Commanding November Company Group, MGen P.J. Devlin, OMM, MSC, CD on behalf of Her Excellency The Governor General. The Commendation was presented to serving members in September 2002, however, there are still a number of outstanding commendations awaiting presentation to retired members. He will present these Commendations to those members in a formal ceremony befitting of its prestige.
