Anyone know if Naval COMMRSCH 291 do SQ after BMQ? curiousdad would have a better name than concerneddad

according to this they do.
On successful completion of BMQ, Communicator Research Operators go to a Military Training Centre for the 10-week Soldier Qualification (SQ) course,
which is cool because when the time comes for you to go on ship you will have to take NETP. (Its like Navy SQ) as well! I wish I got to take both.

FYI,
After Ph1 of QL3 COMM RSCH 00120, all the Navy boys and gals were asked if they have completed SQ yet. Most said no, and instead of them going on EWAT they were course-loaded onto SQ.
In short, yes regardless of your element (as it seems) for COMM RSCH you are required to have done and completed SQ. I went Land so I got SQ right about a month into PRETC.
