NDHQ Clothing Stores Holiday Schedule

Could anybody tell me the holiday schedule for NDHQ clothing stores?
Also, how fast are they normally at returning phone calls (or do they return phone calls at all)?
I've transferred recently from out-of-town to a reserve unit in Ottawa, and need to be totally kitted-out again before I start parading in Jan.

This week's CFSU(O) Routine Orders don't mention any clothing stores closure during the holidays.  Normal opening hours are 07:30 to 15:30.  I've always found them to be good at returning calls & scheduling appointments.  BTW, you will need to schedule an appointment for kitting-out.  I don't have a phone number handy, but your unit QM sgt should have it.

Got boned by them today, they closed at 1030 this morning to go for their Christmas lunch.

No offence to those who have no choice, but.....

Is it just me, or does anyone else see the hilarious dichotomy of NDHQ actually issuing operational clothing and equipment? 


I certainly hope that they've gotten better at it.  When we showed up for the Afghanistan Strategic Recce in late 2001 they couldn't provide Gen III frag vests, let alone the plates......
