Hi there!

I am going to start this post out by saying that I am very new to the military lifestyle, so please excuse the lack of knowledge here!  ;D

A few nights ago, my fiance and I discussed buying a house together. The very next day he found out he was getting sent out to Kingston on a 70 day course, and once his course is finished he will be getting posted to either Petawawa, Gagetown or Edmonton.  My daughter and I would love to go with him, but we are not sure how it works. Since him and I are not yet married, are we eligible for CFHA? Our plans were to get married next fall, but he won't be here at that point and it's a little difficult to get married without a groom  . Any tips on what we can do to be together wherever he is posted would be greatly appreciated!!

Could you give us the Cole's notes version, and we'll tell you if he's right or not?  You'd be surprised at how much misinformation there is out there.  More often than not, you'll get answers with references here!  ;D
