There is alot more veterans then some people think. I always hear only 1% of the population is willing to serve but that is very untrue. We all serve in the military at different times of our lives but I find quite alot of people have served one time or another in the canadian armed forces

If comparing U S - Canada statistics, it may be worth mentioning the US had the Draft until 1973.  The OP was a U S video.

Canada's hasn't drafted anyone since 1944 - 45.

No, it does not say that.  The 18% figure in that particular chart refers to the percentage of male veterans receiving services from VAC who are in that age range.  It has nothing to do with the demographics of the general population.

Interesting to see in table 4.1 the number of RCMP disability recipients grows by about 1000 per year to reach 15,000 and beyond, and CAF bounces around 110,000 +\- 2000.

Proportionately, the RCMP are incurring very large numbers of injured officers. Tells you something about their job ...

Seeing how the RCMP are always on what we would consider in the CF ‘on deployment’ as their daily jobs, I’m not at all surprised. I’m sure if every CF member woke up everyday and was in a deployed environment situation our injured numbers would go up significantly. We have it easy by comparison.
