I don't know about anyone else on here but football is a big passion of mine. Sunday's are dedicated to NFL football in my family. We watch the game a game at 1, a game at 4, the Sunday night game, as well as the Monday night game...you could say we're dedicated fans (or crazy, depending on how you view it haha).

And so the NFL season has started, and I was wondering if anyone watches the NFL on here and what team they cheer for? (to get some good old trash talk going  ;)) My team is the Tennessee Titans and I can't wait for their undefeated season and Super Bowl victory this year... ;D. Anyone else?

Cheers, and GO TITANS!!!

I'm a huge football fan myself; however, I think that you missed the memo: the season started back on Canada Day:cdn:

I knew this was going to come up somehow, and although I watch NFL more avidly, I still do watch the CFL (even though it is missing a down, and they play with an extra man). All that watching the CFL did for me though, was get me through to the start of the college and NFL season  ;D. But all jokes aside, the Argos have always been my team...and they seem to be having a great season compared to their last few.

I was going to say that the NFL were playing short a man, and they give them an extra down to compensate for their tiny balls ;D

(Argos are my team as well, but they've been messing up three games straight!  Two or three TDs missed yesterday by INCHES.  Their Defence is going well, though)

But, for NFL, I'm watchin the Patriots!

I was going to say something about how big the CFL balls were in my last post...but I left it out figuring it would actually be a compliment haha.

In the instances like you mentioned with the Argos coming within inches, shows that the game could have easily been a totally different story as the play could have gone either way. So I'm expecting big things in the next few weeks from them.

As for the Patriots, that's my Dad's team. Oh how he was crushed a few years back when the Giants pulled out that win in the Super Bowl, I'm guessing you were the same  :P. I can't rub it in too much though, since the Titans lost the Super Bowl in 2000 by ONE yard...I have to admit,  I died a little inside.

I almost had a heartattack watching the Lions game. Owens didn't go out of bounds, and Cleo Lemon couldn't ditch the ball to save a sack if his life depended on in!!!

I watch the NFL occasionally, but it really turns me off when it takes a half hour to play the last 2 minutes of the game. That's not exciting.

Raiders. (Reminiscent of the old glory days of '84 when I was at the Bowl game that year and the absolute travesty that would be the '05 game against Tampa, watching it in Spanish in Madrid  while on HLTA)
