No more CF ads in the movies

I went and saw Sin City on Friday and while i was expecting the inevitable ad for the CF I most definitely noticed it wasn't there. This was a Famous Players (Silver City) in Windsor, ON. Although the ad was gone before the movie I did notice that the theatre issued magazine (sorry I can't remember name) did have a full page ad. I thought the CF would be pumping up the ad machine for more recruiting for times like these. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

Maybe no Ads is a good thing...

Recruiting centre couldn't handle the increase.

to be truthfull, i never really noticed any CF adds in the movies i went to see.

I can't say I've ever seen a CF advertisement in any movie I've seen in a theatre..

Thats weird, I remember for the last 2 years or so here in Windsor (perhaps just famous players) every single movie had the "Strong. Proud." ad right before the coming attractions.

I have seen movie adds for the CF at the Famous Players theater In Belleville ONt the last was I Robot and Hell boy  but haven't gone there in a few months cause of work schedule

The first time I saw one was with a group of soldiers in 97 in Toronto
(i remember cause it was a special detail put together for the Queen and we were on break)

i have seen them ever since, plus radio, tv and print media

I see them every once in a while, definitely not before every movie though. Saw one on TV fairly recently, no idea what channel it was though, I'm not usually the one turning the TV on.

I've seen them in famous players and Galaxy cinemas, but not recently - thats because the last movie I saw in the theatre was Fahrenheit 9/11 (and I can't remember if there was one or not?)

But a few years ago when I was dating a girl who worked for Famous Players, and as such got *MANY* free movies, I saw the AD all the time... 

I've seen it on MuchMusic a few times, but I couldn't tell if they still show it there as I don't watch much TV anymore (and if I do, its not Much).

I've seen the ads in the Theatres aswell here in British Columbia along with Radio spots doen the hole "Strong, Proud" thing.  Havn't seen an ad in the paper yet I don't think.

I didn't say MIDLAND. I see them a lot in Kingston when I go down there which is everyother weekend. I guess I wasn't being specific...
