(Not Makin' This Up) JTF-2 Action Figures

Ha - Zipperhead, I thought that Gunny's 'motivational action figure' was hilarious when I first saw it; It was owned by a US AF captain who could quote every line by the Gunny in the entire FMJ movie.  The US marine guys we worked with all filed in to look at it when it arrived, and we all had a laugh listening to the lines when you pulled the cord.

Still, Wow! JTF2 action figures! What next? A CDS figure with karate chop action? An MND bureaucrat doll with removable spine, and when you pull the string it says "go get'em JTF2, but dont hurt anyone!"? 

Any names on the loveable little JTF2 guys? You know, like "Captain Bravo" or "Specialist Thermo"?

Cant wait to see the 'Logistic Support' line so you can simulate a staff meeting before the mission!  :rofl:

Ah well you get the idea. I stopped surfing after the first dozen pages. Checking this stuff out makes kind of wish that I hadn’t tossed out my GI Joes about 35 years ago. They must be worth something.

Well, I wrote to the National Post to offer my correction on the article and an editor wrote back - on a Sunday no less - to ask if he could print my letter. Call it silly if you want, but I think the Post does seem to have a firmly expressed interest in matters pertaining to the Canadian Forces - big and small.
