Rarely does a campaign cross my desk that I can get so quickly and completely, um, "behind." This is just so very, very awesome.

Meet the SWAGs (Service Wives And Girlfriends), whose cheeky naked calendar has raised £26,000 for Help For Heroes

Last updated at 8:10 AM on 21st April 2010

Their other halves are busy dealing with military assaults. But for these SWAGs - Service Wives And Girlfriends - it's more about full-frontal assaults.

With only strategically placed guns and tanks to spare their blushes, these charity calendar shots have helped raise £26,000 for injured servicemen and women wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq.

A total of 50 volunteers, all wives and girlfriends of men from the three Armed Services, stripped off to be photographed at bases and training centres in Hampshire. But their modesty was preserved by carefully placed pieces of military equipment.

Personally I love it but there are too many "lace panty" types (pun fully intended) prowling the halls of Political Correctness University in Ottawa.
>:D

Nice... But I am likely going to jail on Monday now just for saying that.

Ahh well.

I have to say, it's quite tastefully done.  Although, one wonders if they had to audition as they are all quite nice looking.

If we did it here, we'd have to have a SHAB as well, Service Husbands and Boyfriends.  ;)

That brings up a good question: Does anyone know if there has ever been any fallout for the few guys who have done the "Sunshine Guy" type of thing?

Silvia Pecota (god bless her) has done what she has getting models to dress up in CadPat for morale-type pictures and bookmarks and she is supported at very high levels, but I wonder about the guys who are actually serving.

Hmmm.

seems like a good way to keep "morale" up.  ;D

Much as I love him, no.  We'd have auditions too.  ;)

O.K.  I've been looking, and looking, and looking, and looking, and I can't find the cute little teddy bear in the March picture.

It really couldn't hurt to look again. . .

It looks like it may be seen a little between the thighs of the girl on the left.

Is that the "Army Left" or the "Civie Left" as you are facing them or "their left"?
