Technically a history question, and I dont know if anyone will know, but here goes.

Does anyone know where I can find accurate diagrams of a Russian Hussar, or Cossack unifrom from the Napoleonic Era?  Something from a Russian Regiment in the 1812 invasion by the French would be perfect, but I'll take anything from that Era.

I'm kinda hoping for something that I can see clearly, maybe from more than one angle.  A desription would be nice to go with it, or even just knowing what each part is called, but I could probably find that.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I put together uniforms, and this one has been a big one on my list.  I can also find colours for the different regiments, but A good view of the pattern still eludes me.

Took me 2 minutes of searching on yahoo.

Uniforms of the Russian and the French Armies of the Napoleonic Wars, by the way these are more like paintings then actual pictures.

Actual pictures, of actual uniforms.

Thats what I get for using google.  Thanks, one picture helps with the Hussar uniform, two with the Cossacks.  I kind of wish the Hussars had been mounted instead of on foot, would have been interesting to see the saddle and rein arrangement and style, but this helps a lot.  Thank you.

There MUST be an Osprey Men at  Arms title to help you out, no?  Have you tried Amazon.com ?
