Found this opinion piece this morning. Ugh.

I'm all for having a force focused on certain capabilities rather than having a "jack of all trades" mentality, but cutting budget because we're an "extraordinarily safe" country is a joke.

I was thinking the same thing (mind you, some of the comments are as unrealistically simplistic as the original article, but it's definitely a change of pace from the regular batch of methadone addicts commenting on CBC articles).  :nod:
