There were several Canadian communist organizations back in the late 60‘s and early 70‘s that preached the overthrow of Democracy for the warmth of dear, sweet Mother communism. Several had daily or weekly rags that printed the reason that communism was the true path to enlightenment in those troubled times. A couple had some really ‘smart‘ titles like "New Morning" and "The Golden Path" but the one that really made me stand up and take notice was a little known and very little read monthly out of Halifax, Nova Scotia called...are you ready???...."New Horizons". Pretty deranged bunch of closet Commies if ever I saw some. Nice little arsenal in the back wall of the print shop for "the BIG day". It never came, they went away...The End.
