Oregon Aero BLU kit for Kevlar helmet

Keltic short answer no!

That said a few buddies and I ordered them...

Kevin B:
**chuckles** LMK how it is...I want the upgrade when I'm over in the A-stan. Did you order direct or local?

Kevin,

Have you gotten your BLU kit yet? I am very interested in buying one. Please let us know.

I've heard alot about these liners. alot of boys I know praise them to their deaths. I'd love to put one into a spare helmet if they let me. I'd just dyed the straps green; I mean who's gonna notice if they're green? I mean a helmet is suppose to be on your head right? one of these days I'll get it, cuz like I said, alot of boys I know PRAISE it.
Greg

I don't think there's any need to dye the threads green as Oregon Aero offers a kit with green helmet straps.

One thing to note about the Oregon Aero upgrade though:  The foam padding is reported to become very hard/stiff in sub-zero temperatures and isn't very comfortable until it warms up.

Matt,

In sub-zero temperatures, NOTHING is very comfortable until it warms up... ;D ;D ;D

mudgunner,

I am not disagreeing with you here, but from what I've heard from some people that have used the BLU padding in cold temps, until the padding warms up and softens, it's like wearing a set of rock hard ice packs on your skull.
