I didn't know where to put this, but I was just curious.  Has Over There been cancelled or is it going to have a season 2?

No it's continuing with frequent firefights and a chance of sporadic bombings. Probably will continue for several years to come...oh..you mean the TV show, I have no idea.  ;) :salute:

Had to google what "Over there" was (although it would nice, wouldn't it Chimo if it had ended after season 2 over there...)

According to this, it is done.

Hijack:
check out "The Unit", really fun show to watch. How "fantasy" or realistic it is (its about a top-secret US spec ops task force), I really don't know. But good, never the less.
End of hijack.

both programmes are slightly less realistic than "Stripes" or "Invasion USA".

The series played here in Australia on cable only. I enjoyed it. Later they had had a marathon of them, all episodes in one long day.

It was only a mini series, but it would have been nice if it was a pilot for a series (or maybe it was?).

Cheers,

Wes

I admit that I do enjoy watching The Unit, and found some of the episodes of Over There to be okay.  What I did not like about it (OT) was the repeated near mutinous acts of the Jr NCOs.  It gave me the impression that all soldiers in Iraq are ready to disobey any order that do not synch with peace activist sentiments.
