Patrol sling?

Do not go with a patrol sling!

Three point slings are outdated.  There is no need for an extra strap of webbing to get in the way of the mag release, charging handle or get caught on stuff.  Also when wearing a sling you want it to go over your strong shoulder and under your weak arm.

The best sling on the market right now is the Vickers Combat Application sling made by Blue Force Gear.  It will fit on the C7A2 and C8 as is, but will adapt to any other weapon with adaptors.  It's a two point sling made for shooting, not garrison.

Is it easily adaptable to the C7A1? So far all I've seen on websites is "adaptable to a variety of weapons"...

you've got to pick up an adaptor that only costs and extra $8 I think it is. I don't know, ask farmboy, because that's what it said on the packaging with my vickers that I just picked up.

Yes, the buttstock adaptor for the C7 is avalible for the Vickers sling,  $11.99 is the price for it and we do keep these in stock.

This adaptor will also fit on other fixed stocks like shotguns, hunting rifles etc.
