Pay Review

I was wondering if anyone has had a pay review done by CFRG in the past. I currently have one in the works which I am confident, based on the evidence and precedent provided, that I will be successful... it seems pretty straight forward to me.

Has anyone had a similar experiance and can comment on the nature of it/time it took/etc.?

Military personnel, both Regs & Res are paid daily rates - there is no negociating, there is no pay review.

At present, the CF is waiting for something or other about equivalencies between public sector wage structure and mil sector wage structure.........

My *Guess* is that he/she has requested a review of their incentive level based on prior service, or for a reallocation to a different pay rate... not the creation of an entirely new pay rate.

You are correct, I should have been more clear in my original post. The review in this case is with regard to prior service and IPC detirmination. A "pay review" is what my OR called it... I don't know if there is a better term for it.

I called it unf%$&ing my pay. The Fin Sgt called it "Oh no, not you again." The pay clerk and I have a love/hate relationship. She loves to hate me. I love how her hate for me is manifested with a new and bizarre pay issue on a roughly quarterly basis.

Nah, on a serious note I have bad luck with being the victim of administrative and computer errors. It usually gets sorted out pretty promptly.

Reserve Sgt IPC 4 went from $135.96 to $139.50...thats not 6.6%...Reg Frce Cpl (Standard) IPC 4 went from $4303 to $4416...thats not 6.6% either unless my math is WAY off...?

Oik....... there are now three pay levels to CWOs (reg 8A, 8B & 8C) (res 7A, 7B & 7C)compared to the one we had before.... and each has a basic 1 thru 4 IPCs... in Standard, Spec 1 & Spec 2

can anyone tell me if you are still entitled to backpay if you were sworn in on June 13/06 and started basic on July 4/06?

I'm pretty sure you are entitled from 4 july (the day you begun being paid)

Yes, you will get backpay to your enrolment date (less, of course, any period of Leave Without Pay between enrolment and commencement of training), since it is later than Apr 06.
