People bring me down but can I make it?

Hi I was just wondering, the fact of people bringing me down, and telling me I wont make it is really getting on my nerves. Do most applicants get into the trade they want (Infantry)?

You get the trade you want if you qualify for it and then wait for the right offer.  For selection within infantry of regiment and battalion, see this thread:

A lot of people said i wouldnt last...

It just makes proving them wrong that much more gratifying.

Ive gotten the same crap from my family and friends. Im finding it alittle tough without support from the family but am just using there doubts to fuel my own fire. Let them work there factory and desk jobs.  :cam:
