About how long should it take to ship a PERS file from one base to another?
Any insight would be appriciated.  I have been waiting for over a month and was wondering.

Pers file, when shipped from one base to another, is not the only piece of personal files that are sent. The Base OR Clerk, when you are posted out, request your med, dental, clothing and Unit employment files and compile all of them. Once the checklist is complete, the whole package is sent to the BOR of your receiving base. Then the files are distributed to their respective departments.

Being over a Christmas period, a wait of more then a month would not be unusual, because of silly season activities and leave.

Be patient, they will show.

So if all my Med Docs are here it's pretty safe to assume that the rest of my PERS file is here too?
Just asking because I found out all my med docs are here today. ;D

Its likely.
But depending where your were and were you are now...they might have been shipped separately.
