Hi,
I've visited this board a number times but this is my first posting.
Anyway, I could not believe my eyes when I saw that posted on CNN.
Data on 26 million veterans stolen from home
------------------------------------------------------------------------
http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/05/22/vets.data/index.html
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The first question was "How could someone even think of downloading this type of material to their home???" What type of security was in place, no, there was none.
Even if I could, I would not do such a thing!!! The risk is not worth it. He could have just gone back to work and stayed late.
---
The best security for highly sensitive material is a system not open to the public and accessible only at the office. NO VPN or Shell access from an outside source. (yes, also on internal IP 10.XX, or 192.XXX etc)
