You and I likely don’t have a lawyer on hand, hence the ability to bully us into pay instantly. It is also why going after the rich who aren’t paying their taxes is hard, they do generally have a lawyer on hand.

Taxes - yeah I have an issue with politicians saying "we need to find more streams of revenue"

I say "hey assholes there's only ONE stream - us. You take 40% of our money we WORK for and you spend it foolishly. We give you enough and its time to start living properly"

Another thing - health care. My deductible for prescription drugs is $12000 yes twelve THOUSAND. Its a good thing I have insurance.

Yet some rubby on Main gets everything for free.....

So, after the last twenty one months of work, the backlog has grown by 2,000 cases.

Throwback: somehow seven years later the backlog is 216,000.

And the ADM responsible for the Phoenix replacement just suddenly quit.

I am not surprised, we had a guy from EC win a position at TC. EC would not fix his file and TC would not accept it till it was fixed. So he was getting paid at his old lower rate, having to request leave from his old boss and new boss. I am not sure if that ever got fixed. I suspect there are a lot of people in that boat, where they transfer and the old Department puts the file on low priority, and the new one won't accept till it's fixed. Heads should have been on pikes outside of the HQ buildings in Ottawa for this eff up.
