Will probably be a hard sell, because they're about to complete construction on their very first nuclear reactor adding an additional 10% capacity to the countries grid.

And perhaps it won't be because that reactor comes with a hefty catch.

That reactor is entirely funded, owned, and will be operated by Russia. So Turkey may see some value in diversifying.

no surprise at all. There are too many obstacles for a corporation to overcome to make it anything they would want to take to the board of directors.
Once this gets moving along there is little doubt that a number of tier 1 companies will step forward and become the leads.
 
According to the globe, Smith couldn't get any private backers. So this pipeline will be 100% government funded as of right now.


Canada overall is going to have a hard time economically and attracting investment - thanks to the current government and its policies. It should be no surprise big oil doesn't want to sink dollars in a country that can and will pull the rug out.
