For those who've never lived in BC, Active Pass is part of the route taken by BC Ferries from Vancouver to Victoria/Vancouver Island.

There is also an interesting article below the political cartoon by a certain reporter named Tom Fletcher who wrote about his older brother Lee Fletcher who is a Petty Officer and an "intelligence operator" who was just sent recently to Afghanistan, according to this article/editorial.
