Trump's Approval Rating With Millennials Is Surging: Polls

President Donald Trump's approval rating with millennials has jumped 7 percentage points in roughly a month, polls from The Economist and YouGov show.

Why It Matters

Millennials, roughly those born from 1981 to 1996, are an increasingly consequential voting bloc as turnout patterns shift. Changes in their partisan leanings or candidate preferences can influence congressional and presidential contests.

When Trump returned to the White House in January, he came in with high overall approval figures. But after months marked by economic uncertainty and criticism the administration has faced over immigration tactics and the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, the president has seen a dip.

The volatile nature of approval polls can paint a picture of the political landscape heading into 2026 midterm elections where Democrats hope to regain control of the House and Senate.

An interesting development coming out of Russia. The number privately owned livestock animals is about to be severely limited by the Kremlin, even on farms.

The restrictions proposed by legislators will cause a decline in local production of natural products and an increase in prices for them by 10-15%, believes Vladimir Vinogradov, CEO of Pro-Vision Communications. This may also increase Russia's dependence on imports of food products, which will make quality food less accessible to citizens.

I’m not tracking the logic in this, someone help me out. Why would they limit that and how does it tie to other things?

Re-directing feed stocks to human consumption?

And the "good stuff"? Well... if you don't have the wealth or status it's now being used for trade.

Ahhh, back to the trade under the Nazi/Soviet trade pact of 1939. You ship me wheat and I ship you locomotives.

Find out next week if he does another 180°. It really does seem like it all depends on who he spoke to last, still managed to squeak in a "both sides" near the end.

Utterly meaningless until and unless we see tangible action. Nothing he says has inherent value from the standpoint of being a reliable predictor of how things will actually go. Ukraine should operate on the assumption that Trump will throw them under a bus at a whim if he simply decides to.

Hopefully there’s actually substance behind this latest flip flop, but it’s impossible to take that as a given at this point.
