Political impacts of Ukraine war

A message in there seems to be that he wants Europe to solve this by spending money in the US. The US defence industry (or is it war industry now?) seems to have brought him inside with their interests.
If the Ukrainians manage to push the Russians out on their own terms and manage to regain almost all territory lost post 2023, I’d be a betting man that Belarus makes a play to push out Russian troops from their country.

The West can’t even clear Russian agents out of our territories .., ;)

Deeds, not words, Don.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he TACOs again. Even in his statement, he couldn’t hide his concern for Russia.

Followed by Russia, or maybe preceded by…

Vlad is going to go kicking and screaming from Ukraine as he knows the next stop is him kicking and screaming with a Makarov to the back of the head.
Vlad has essentially painted himself into a corner. Prior to this war, there have been numerous rumblings of him 'diverting' billions of dollars into his own hands. Now, he has spent considerable blood and treasure to achieve almost nothing. Russia has impaled itself and gutted their military. He cannot step back in a peaceful transition of power without a major victory. Once the financial books are reviewed, he is a dead man. If the war fails, he is a dead man. I'm not certain there is any way out of this where he survives to die an old man in his bed.

Wonder if the new management will give up Snowden and Bashir
