Possibility of Transfering

Hi, I m going to be doing my bmq this summer, and if all goes well, finishing it next summer. I ve applied to be in the navy reserves as a NCI-op, and I was pretty confident that this is what I want to do, but after getting to know the job abit more and talking to some of the people at the recruiting center, I am no longer positive that I am fit for that kind job. So my question is, when I start this actual job and it is not something I can do efficiently is it possible to request a transfer to another section of the military where I see myself more fit?
