Possible Length of First Postings after MOC

I'm getting myself ready to head off to BMQ in September, and I'm kind of curious about the postings that happen after MOC.
I know I could get posted to one of 4 bases (Shilo, Petewawa, Val Cartier, or Gagetown), though what I'm curious about is.
How long is the first posting?
Whether in the first 3 year contract, how often are you moved around ???
Mainly I just want to know how long after MOC is my wife able to be moved out to me on my posting.

Postings can vary in length.  So there's no telling how long your first posting will be.  You probably won't move much in that first three years, though.

When you are finished MOC training and get a posting message authorizing your move of HG&E (household goods and effects) and your message includes dependents, then you can move your wife with you.
