Hello,

My father was in the PPCLI during the Korean war.  I live in St. Catharines, Ontario.  Since my father has passed I have come across some items of interest..Korean money, military payment certificates, paybooks, passes and a safe conduct certificate.  I was wondering if there were any museums or such that would be interested in these items?  I have been on the phone all morning to no avail and thought that I would come here.

I have kept some of sentimental value.  I just don't think I should keep these items in the bottom of a drawer and prevent others from sharing in this history.

If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

A message has been sent toe  the PPCLI rep here in Ontario. I have also CC'd you on this e-mail.

Good luck

Thank you so much for your help.  I just don't want to see such pieces of history waste away in a drawer.

The PPCLI Regimental Museum is at the Museum of the Regiments in Calgary.  I'm sure one of the regular Patricia's on the board will be able to give you the correct contact details for there.  It might even be available through Canada411.com

Cheers,
Bill
