pre-enrolment security screening or citizenship

I had to do a pre-sec due to being a citizen who lived overseas. To give you an idea, it took me over 2 years to be enrolled and I am a born Canucks. bonus once I needed further security checks once in it was much faster as I had my ts already. Small win.

Thanks for the insight. Curious was this before the new policy (ie. 6 months in a red-flagged country) or was it pre-2025?

many thanks for the insight you provided. Last time i checked in, it seems that the only outstanding item is CSIS check. and it started on January this year, and had been no activity until May. Now CFRC told me that every month they can see analysts are working on my file. Was wondering does that take 2 years from they started working? Many thanks again.
