Princess Louise Fusiliers

Robert, check with Sgt S in the Recruiting office, he‘ll have some vet‘s adresses in his filed you can pass to Maxwell by private message.

But theres that new privacy act Out. So im not allowed to get that info.

You want the Grey Hackle(Kit Shop they will Have Records and History)

Robert, Sgt S is holding a list of names and addresses of vets and other unit associates that the PLF was sending the unit newsletter to. It is for the purpose of sharing regimental information and regimental purposes, they were provided voluntarily for that purpose, they are not protected under the access to information act. The Grey Hackle does not hold a list of veterans data.

If you don‘t feel comfortable asking Sgt S for information on a few vets for points of cantact to pass to Gerry, then pass Gerry‘s information to Sgt S along with the mention that he was hoping someone would contact him.

Hey man I‘m from down the Yarmouth way and I could help ya. I dont know if this guy‘s still alive though but ya I could help you out if you want. :)

I‘ll see what I can do. Most I‘ll be able to get is a Email, Since Im off for a wile.

Gerry Dresser died quite a few years ago.
I am just trying to put a little history together for his 80 year old sister.

A wartime member of the PLF, Gordon P. Hughes, wrote and self-published a short history of his wartime experiences in 2002. Gordon and his wife were selling copies of the book throuigh the mail, but I no longer have his contact information.

"From Farm Boy to Soldier; Experiences of a World War II Veteran", Gordon P. Hogan, Princess Louise Fusiliers

(One of the Fusiliers on the forum may have the contact info from one of the unit newletters that were published in 2002-03.)

Thank, I don‘t think there‘s been one issued since I left last summer.
