Hey all,

I'm currently in week 10 of training in St. Jean (although home for the holidays).
However, I've had a sinus infection for the past 2-3 weeks thats kept me mostly bed ridden.
I've started feeling better, and this morning did a bit of a warm up, and tried to get back into my regular pushup routine.
I was struggling to hit 10. Now of course I'm expecting to be a bit weak from that, but what I'm asking, is it going to take long to get back to where I was at?

I'm probably just worrying for nothing, in a few days I'll probably be back to where I was. I was just hoping to hear from some of you that are a bit more expert at physical fitness and kinetics..

Cheers

You are just weak right now from several weeks of inactivity, and (probably) irregular eating. When I was first starting out and struggling to do the basic PT to even join the military, I learned that every day I was able to squeeze out 2-3 more. You should hopefully be able to pull out 5-7 as you are not building new muscle, just exercising old ones.

Good luck with the rest of BMQ, training only gets better, but BMQ will be where you make the most friends, and memories.
