QL5 Waiting Time MMT

Good day,

Could anyone provide some insight into the current wait times for a Regular Force member to be loaded onto their QL5 (DP2) course?

I was recently speaking with a Reservist colleague who completed their QL3 in January 2025, and they were already sent information for a potential QL5 serial in September 2026. For comparison, I did my QL3 earlier, in September 2024.

Does anyone have a rough idea of what the current RegF backlog or expected timeline looks like right now? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Reservist timelines will be different than Reg Force timelines.

Reg force you have a job your doing and sending you on course takes away from that. Reserves you don’t have a active job ongoing so there can be more opportunities for career courses, taskings, etc. plus each unit will have different priorities so some units will need troops trained up quicker to make up for gaps in skill sets, meaning if you are available there is a good chance they can make stuff happen.
