Que. bridge re-opened after military shell removed

MONTREAL -- Provincial police have reopened a Quebec City-area bridge after a military shell was removed from underneath it.
Police say local hunters found the potentially explosive device this morning below the Ile d'Orleans bridge.
Surete du Quebec officers closed the span and set up a security perimeter.
Police say the Canadian Forces were called in to recover the object from the shores of the St. Lawrence River.
They say it is too early to know where the shell originated.
The bridge was closed for about three hours.
