Good Morning and to all those taking the time to read this thank you. I went to the recruiting office for the 8th Canadian Hussars in Moncton about one month ago. I recieved all the papers apparently required and filled them out to the best of my ability to join the 8th. When I went to submit them, I was to meet with a Master Corperal, as I was walking in the door the hospital called..... His wife went into labor. Congradulations sir however no I am a little lost on how long or what the next step is. As no one was really able to talk me thru it, they merely asked if I had everything completed, I said I believe so. So I believe my papers are being sent off to Borden? I have a feeling they will call me with the next step? Sorry about my lack of knowledge here, I am currently trying to look on the Forces.ca website with little luck. If Some one could tell me, one will someone have a meeting with me to tell me what I will be doing in reserves ( I want to do MedTech work as I am going to Paramedic academy) and how much work can I do, I'm highly eager to serve and really want to get this ball rolling is there anyone I can/should contact apart from the 8th Hussars or would I contact recruiting?

Call the Hussars and explain your situation.  Someone should have taken over his recruiting duties if he took leave or anything like that.  If no one knows whats going on, call your local CFRC and ask if they know about your file.  Your file should have been sent to a CFRC to begin processing and you need to do your CFAT, physical, and medical as well as the interview.
