Hi, quick question to anyone who might have an idea about this.
The motto of the Northern Pioneers (Francis Pegahmagabow's old regiment) is Ah Neuegahne Min. Try as I could, I could not find a single note as to what this phrase means; I even saw an entry in an old Canada Gazette article about the unit's crest and there was nothing provided. I assume the phrase is Ojibwe in origin (or one of the other First Nations from that part of Ontario) but trying to figure it out just raises a tonne of questions. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
