Quick question about my Files/Secuirty

About 6-12 months ago I got a call from my local recruitment center saying that I did not qualify for my first choice and my other choices were not hiring at the moment. They asked me to come in to see if there was any other jobs id be interested in and I turned them down in an idiot. I was just wondering if it was possible for them to still have me on file after this long? I am going to call them in the morning ( currently 5am )

Also since I made this post I might as well ask, I work at Toronto Pearson Airport. Therefor I have a Security pass that I had to get a background check etc. Would this help speed up my application process seeing as the government already knows my background and the military can easily just access the information they need?

I had security clearance level 2 from past employment but I believe the recruiter said that wont speed it up, as it is a different branch running this security clearance.  They still needed the last 5years of employment / addresses - but it did say on the sheet "had you passed a security clearance screening prior" - so maybe if it is recent, which yours is -  they check the newer adresses and employers.

If you were a Federal Civil Servant, with a PRI number, that information can be included with your application and it could facilitate a quicker clearance.  All Federal employees with a PRI or Service Number are processed through CSIS as a step before DND approves them.  This does not include Provincial Civil Servants or Contractors (who have not worked for DND).
