Not true however, QRO 108.24 - Powers of Punishment of a Commanding
Officer reads that Confinement of ship or barracks to a maximum of 21 days
can be awarded to MCpl‘s, Cpl‘s and Pte‘s. This time includes extra work
and drill as noted in QRO 108.37 - Confinement to Ship or Barracks. It
should also be noted that it can be handed out in conjunction with a fine.
If you are being tried by a Delegated Officer you can only get a max of 14
days CB.
